One of those life changing events happened for Annie today. She lost her first tooth. It had been loose for about 2 months and she finally let me give it a little tug and out it came. She was so excited, but couldn't believe how much blood there was. Rachel was so cute helping Annie brush and polish her tooth before placing it under her pillow for the tooth fairy.
This all happened right before dinner, so Annie was curious to see how it would feel to eat and drink without a tooth. She did fabulously.

Your kids are so cute. I can't believe she is old enough to lose a tooth!
That is a BIG day for any child! I can't believe how cute she is---well, no that is not true. I can believe, it's just that I haven't seen them.
Yeah Annie! Bryn would be jealous, she's pretty sure she was the only first grader who had not lost a tooth in the whole school. She's hoping maybe this summer she'll finally lose a tooth, but nothing loose yet. hehe!
Congratulations Annie! You ALWAYS have a BEAUTIFUL smile!
Yay! Grant just lost his first one too. Annie is so beautiful, looks like her mom :)
Yahoooo Annie! Man she's getting big. How she'd like the tooth fairy?
John can't wait until he looses a tooth -- I think he thinks it means he is officially a "big boy". What a sweet girl you have!
Amy
Annie has such beautiful blue eyes! I love the toothless smiles! They are so proud of themselves, especially the first tooth. It's one of those rights of passage. On to the next level of growing up. I love it.
What a doll! Way to go Annie!
Go Annie! She looks so cute. What a little doll. I can't wait to see it! Did you loose teeth that young? Mine have all been 6. Love you.
