The Little Joys In Life

This little boy of mine absolutely melts my heart. I was watering the yard last week and naturally Christian wanted his clothes off to run through the sprinkler. I sat and watched him feeling perfectly content. There was no other place I'd rather be than watching him digging and even sampling the dirt. He even pooped on the lawn and said "what happened mom". I about died laughing. The other kids were preoccupied in the house so it was just my moment with Christian.
My sister Andrea and I were talking about how much were enjoying our two year old boys the second time around.I'm so glad I got to have another little boy. They say and do the cutest things. Yes, they can be handfuls at this age, but truly, I love their young inquisitive innocent mind, working in full force to grasp the world around them. I love you my baby boy.

He is so cute! I love his white bum. Other than the disasters they can get themselves in I love this age.

What a cute kid! I'm lovin' his little white bum too. Coop is two years old too and is a lot of fun. He is such a better talker than the other kids have been which has seemed to make this stage even more fun.

Did you explain the difference in poop and dirt?

Sweet, another lawn pooper in the family. Kally did something similar when she was three. Problem was it was at our friends house when they invited us over for dinner. hehe, kids are awsome. I think I am going to have to run through the sprinklers naked and see what kimmy says when I poop on the lawn :)
Luv ya, Deric

I hear you on having another boy. They are so cute and fun. We are loving to watch Dallin grow up! He is three months shy of two years old. Little boys can be so huggable and yet tough at the same time. I haven't yet let my little man out the back door without his diaper on. He would love it!

What a cutie. Boys are so much fun. Always curious and getting in to things. I just love my boys, wouldn't trade any of them for a girl.

Heidi! It was so exciting to hear from you!
I am so glad you have a blog too so I can peek in on you every now and then.
Your kids are so adorable!(just like their mama!)
I love their little white tushies! They must play outside a lot. My kids used to have those when we lived in Mesquite.

Thanks for the reminder. Emmett is 18 months and so much fun. He has thrown our phone away and I'm pretty sure a remote or two, but I so love his little personality. I wish I were able to get to know Christian's like I was Annie's. She still makes me laugh.

Thanks for the meme -- our laptop died (again!) and we're still picking up the pieces. Love you!

Gotta love the boys! Garret once put a pb&j in the VCR, not sure what movie he was hoping that would play!?!? We never had poop on the lawn, but we did in the tub. haha! And to Deric, thats just gross! But super funny!

I know what you mean, and totally feel the same way about 2 year olds. They have their moments for sure but they are so clumsy in their mischief and haven't mastered the art of fibbing yet that you just can't stay that mad at them => We almost named our little guy Christian after Desi's grandpa, but it became his middle name. Sometimes I wish it was his first though => Your little Christian is such a handsome little man =>
PS: love poopin in the lawn, mine just pooped on the carpet tonight after his bath, why oh why?? =>
